Description: Amanita pantherina, or the panther cap, is a toxic and psychoactive mushroom known for its brown cap covered in white warts and its close resemblance to the edible blusher, Amanita rubescens. It does not "blush" when damaged and features a distinctive collar-like volva at the base.
