Description: Psilocybe zapotecorum is a large, psilocybin-containing mushroom named after the Zapotec people, known for its wavy, yellowish-brown cap and striking blue-to-black bruising. It grows in subtropical forests and has historical use in indigenous ceremonies, sometimes called the "drunken mushroom" or "crown of thorns mushroom."
