Pseudohydnum gelatinosum

Description: Pseudohydnum gelatinosum, commonly known as the toothed jelly fungus or cat’s tongue, is a gelatinous, edible fungus found on dead conifer wood across Europe and Asia. In North America, the similar Pseudohydnum gelatinosum ssp. pusillum is the only known toothed jelly fungus and can be found near both coasts during cooler months.
